Security controls

Carriers commonly ask about a handful of controls. Two are asked here as Required: multi-factor authentication on email, and how often you back up. The rest are optional on this page, and the agent will ask about them on the call if you leave them blank. A loss that lands on contractors who pay by invoice or wire is payment fraud through a compromised email account: an invoice with a changed bank account, or a wire sent to the wrong place. That is why email MFA and payment-change controls are asked. If you do not know, say "Not sure" and the agent will ask. Nobody is turned away for a "Not sure".
